Does anyone have any idea how to fill these notorious gaps that show up after putting the model together? is there a product for that, or you guys just use a putty?

Hello! The gaps you speak of are a pain.Now ,I don,t want you to think I am belittling your efforts ,but did you dry fit the parts BEFORE you put the modeltogether?? I have found that even after forty some odd years later I still dry fit BEFORE I put a kit together. Now if your gaps are on wing fillets you can use any of the putties for models or even glazing putty(A body shop item). If you do this you can put a blob on(not very technical is it) and using a moist finger flow it over the area. When it dries ,sand lightly and viola!! Nice wing fillets.If you have a fuselage seam problem this is one that needs the dry fit method and if necessary adding some more support in some areas BEFORE assembly. If your wings are to thick or wavy edged you can get some waves out with very hot water and patience. Then take the locating pins off the half that has them.Now take a sheet of 320 grit WETorDRY sandpaper and tape it or super glue it to a flat piece of glass grit side up.Put the glued paper on glass in a shallow tub(storage container ),Cover with water and put the part on there.Now in a circular motion without lifting move the part around on the sandpaper,checking often to see that all the edge is sanded.Do this to the wing top and bottom . Now fit together at the leading edge tight andt rue and glue.You can make the edges meet better by doing this too. If you are building armor Sand the edges of the panels for a better fit and then glue in place.If you still have gaps use the putty and sand clean and true afterwards.
