Figures:1/35 US Army WW II

Looking for WW II U.S. slodiers in the ETO at rest. Has anyone cast WW II US infntry in a crap game, relieaving themselves, bathing, eating, drinking, sleeping cleaniing their weapons etc. Any & all leads or suggetions are welcome.

Thanks in advance.

Miniart

Figures at rest are not modeled often. No excitment in them I guess.

There are loads of resin ones out there but they are costly and sometimes hard to find.

You can also take figures that are molded in more action poses and mix and match parts to make them relaxed. These are all altered pilots. New heads and repositioned arms make them more casual.

LOL

Take these guys, scrap the wepons, equipment and helmets, place in a circle around some dice and you have one heck of a game of craps going!

Guy in back just threw the dice. Rest are watching and yelling “COME ON 7” at them.

Dude laying on his side with the rifle grenade is just sitting up to scream “SHUT UP IM TRIN’ TO GET SOME SHUT EYE OVER HERE” (only with more expletives)

Oh great now I have to do another diorama.

There were plenty of Verlinden figures that fit into your basic categories, although they tend to be closer to 1/32 in size than 1/35. Aside from that Mini Art set, I’d say to look at some of their other sets, as well as Masterbox.

Using Tamiya`s 1/35 US Army Assult Infantry set is a GREAT sugestioin for a a crap game scenario!! Do you have any ideas on how to replicate 1:35 scale money???

Oh that is easy as can be. Just print some in different sizes and pick the one you like the best. Remeber that they would not be using US dollars though.

SWEET!!! Thanks for the assist. Also MANY thanks for the link to the Allied Military Currency link. I plum forgot that they would not be using US dollars but the currencey of the contry their in.This will be a major help.

Can’t wait to see it.

I have an old resin fieldkitchen kit, the US Infantry at rest and that combat figure sets someplace and I am going to do the crap game with the combat guys while others line up for food but that is years away on the schedule.
