Figured out the picture thing

Hey fellas,

It took awhile but I finally figured out how to post pictures and thought I’d share some of my work since I began building again (after 20 some-odd years). Any criticism is welcome. Pete

I know their small. Guess thats the next problem.

And JWest21 thanks for the info.

Looking good, Pete. did you happen to use fotopic? That’s what I use. I find that they only allow you to put the thumbnails here, so I usually include a link to the gallery so others can expand the pics and get all the nuances. Is that the Academy Stuart? I have that kit calling to me

An’t bad after 20 years of selving.You did good.Digger

Wish they were bigger, my eyesight stinks as it is. At least you got them in.

[#ditto] my friend. From what I could tell…nice build

Jason, these are all Hasegawa 1/72 kits. I started out with them for 2 reasons: 1. cost factor (you can get these for about $5) since I wanted to be sure I’d have the time and interest in getting back in for real - I do and I have. And 2. I thought that since I didn’t have an AB (see #1 above), that the smaller kits would look better brush painted, considering the smaller surface areas.

I am using fotopic. I didn’t realize that they only let you post thumbnails. I thought that maybe I was supposed to enlarge the photos before uploading to fotopic, but I guess not. Including the link is the way to go then. Here it is: http://petermarmann.fotopic.net/

fotopic is nice, but it does drive you nuts with picture size. Although building a Stuart in Braille scale would drive me nuts, too! My hands are too big for that

It wasn’t as bad as you’d think. My aging eyes were the bigger problem.
As far as fotopic goes, I guess you can’t complain if you’re getting the service for free.

That’s what stops me from complaining every time
