figure finish?

Ive searched on here and on google, with no luck.

Is there a dull finish you can paint over your figures when youre done, to help protect them, and dull down the colors alittle bit?

This is probably a no-brainer for any vetern but Im new and really dont know, any help would be great.

Testors DullCote shot from an airbrush. I’ve been using this for years and have been quite happy withthe results, whether over enamels, oils or acrylics. The judges like the results, too, since I have a box full of plaques and medals.

I use Testors flat from the small rattle can, and then wash the figure with a slight mineral spirit and black artist oil paint wash to pick up details. It works for me!
