Hi all.
This is my Italeri 1/72 CR 42. Sofar the kit has gone together well. The cockpit is nicely detailed with tube frames.
Those bottom wings are just over 1" each!
The struts sofar have been fidly but I have atleast not lost of broken them…yet LOL!
This is one of those planes where you need to do allot of the painting befrore final assembly can be done.
I am building this to gain experience with fidly things before trying my hand at my 1/32 WnW Se5a.

Thanx guys, as for the cammo the kit suplies 5 different sceeme sedals. 2 Regia Aeronautica /desert brown with small dark eart and green mottles.
Another Regia Aeroaunotica in all over gunship grey and a Italian plane with Lufftwaffe marfings aplied over the italian ones!
Also a winter white Swedish plane.
I think the desert Itallian one will be a little more chalanging to do but will look nicer, so I might go for that.
I initially planed to do the painting and then assemble but it will not be practical as the bottom wing’s dihedral angle are determined by the top wing struts that will have to be installed first. So the masking will be “interesting” wit so much fidly things in the way.
