I built one of these kits a couple of years ago after seeing a real one fly in Fla. It’s an awesome kit and builds up into one fine model. Great start guy, can’t wait to see more.

Jerry

Looking good so far Guy. Keep us posted.

Regards, Rick

Looking good Guy. Keep at it.

Hi again, cockpit went in ok then disaster. After about 5mins i noticed the IP was alittle crooked. Worse possible thing, i had to split the fuselage in order to straighten the IP. In the end it didnt come out too badly. My next mission was masking the canopy, Geez it was big. I have now changed my favourite thing in modelling. It was decals, but is now unpealing masked windows. Anyways Heres a few photos of progress so far.

Sorry for all the photos. lol

Guy-

It looks great! Nice recovery on the fuse. I really wish they would make one in 1/48 scale. [V]

Excellent work! You are doing a beautiful job on that kit.

I seem to have at least one disaster and one major goof per kit. I just figure it keeps us humble. [swg]

Nice job so far on a cool little plane.

Huh ? Sorry for photo’s ? !!!

Nice work - funky canopy - no need to apologise.

What’s the chain that seems like it would be hanging down in front of the pilot’s face ?

Chris

You should only apologize when there’s not enough photos! Great work so far…I’m anticipating another winner with your Storch.

Thx for all the comments all. Bossman, the chain thingy is in all the piccys ive seen of the storch. Im no expert (Im sure someone will put us right) but i think its either some sort of flap trimmer or manual flap deployment? Do i sound like i know what im on about lol. Something like that anyways.

A bit more painting tonight, going to try to get the fuz underside painted and the wings. Then its on to the u/c and other fiddlys.

Luft,

I’d say that modelling what you see makes you a more of an expert than not modelling what you see - or worse - modelling what you don’t see. All that is to say… Good job!
