Ferdinand?

I have just purchased the Dragon 1/35 Sd.Kfz.184 Ferdinand -premium edition-, and now I would like to hear any tips or comments that you fellow modelers have on this model.

Please don’t hold back any info on building, painting, or weathering this model. All is appreciated.

I have the Elefant but will add this soon as I have heard that it’s excellent. Well thats what I heard.

I have one, but don’t expect a total shake-and-bake kit. Since it’s similar to my older Elefant, except with PE, and upgrades like the magic-tracks (thank goodness, there older tracks were incorrect and fit like heck), the fit should be decent. The PE ought to interesting to produce, especially if you’ve never done any (I’ve only done grilles). The magic-tracks are called as such, because there is no clean-up, since they are already seperated from the sprues.

Ferdy’s had some wicked camo patterns, many difficult to spray, but can be done with masking.
