Where was the fuel cap placed on the ferdinand tank? I’m thinking two hatches on the engine deck. Note: sorry for lack of detail I’m on my phone and about to lose service.
If you look at where the engine deck meets the front plate of the superstructure (where the gun comes out), you will see 3 rectangular “domed” hatches -( not the ones with the grills), they are at the junction of the 2 plates. Underneath these hatches are where the fuel filler caps are.
