Which one is Your favorite Star Trek Enterprise? Mine is the Original. Consider NX-01 on the list. Sorry everyone.
Lee
My favorite isn’t technically on the list. It’s the modified D with the 3rd Warp Core and the Ion Cannon from All Good Things… Just a beautiful ship.
What about a choice for NX-1? For those that don’t know, it’s the one from Enterprise with Scott Bakula. Nice looking ship, if you ask me.
demono69
Yeah, I’m with demono69. NX-1 is a sweet ship.
I chose the 1701-D, but it wasn’t always my fave. Actually, when I STTNG came out, I hated it! I was really digging the movie Enterprise at that time, which wasn’t a drastic design change from the original Enterprise. But the D…HUGE saucer, little secondary hull and tiny (proportionately) warp nacelles…me and my ST geek buds referred to it as the “Duckbutt Enterprise.”
The more I watched, however, the more the design grew on me, and now it is my hands-down favorite.
The “All Good Things” version is extremely cool, too!
I too liked the “All Good Things” version of the Enterprise D. But the first time I saw the “E” on screen I knew that was the one I liked best. So sleek and sexy, It just looks Fast standing still.
I don’t see mine listed. CVN-65. [;)] Oh, you mean the Star Trek Enterprise. [:)] Mine would be NX-1. After that would be NCC 1701.
I picked the E on this list although the “all good things” version of the D is my absolute fav.
The Standard for what was to be one of the most popular science fiction series ever (and its associated spin-offs) began with NCC-1701. In the fall of 1970, I couldn’t wait to get home from school and see what was going on with Kirk, Spock, McCoy, Scotty and the rest of the crew. Those early shows will be remembered and celebrated long after STTNG, STVoyager, and Enterprise have been forgotten. My vote goes to the Standard Bearer.

You mean there’s that many !!!
Just about as many Enterprises as there are Shermans.
My all-time favorite is the Sovereign class ( E ). It finally got rid of the “hit me here” neck that could cause so many problems [:D]( RIP U.S.S. Odyssey [xx(]).
I must say that the 1701-A and NX-01 are about even for second. I still remember seeing the refitted Enterprise in the first movie, and how wonderful it was to have the classic design made into something with more detail and “flow” in the lines.
NCC-1701 by a large margin. The franchise rolls on but has never captured the wonder of the TV series.[^]
I do not know if I can pick just one. If you watched Star Trek from the original all the way through to now the show Enterprise, each ship is unique. It is hard to really pick the best one since each had its own reasons behind the design. The ones that appeared on the big movie screens are excellent. I ahve yet to see one look terrible or not exciteable. I like NX-1 but to look at that one then the NCC-1701 the evolution path just is not quite there. I mean it is more areodynamic than the ones from TOS. If you watch the shows and movies without thinking in terms of previous looks then all are very nice ships that I woould be honored to serve on. I admit though it took a little bit of getting use to NCC1701-D. But as a Trekkie I love all Enterprises even the really aircraft carrier and test space shuttle. I may just be a the name, I do not know.

Without wishing to appear Nerdy, Warp Nacelles only work in pairs, so the heavily modifed Enterprise D from ‘All good things’ is technically carrying the third one round as dead weight!
I was however impressed by the amount of firepower it brought to bear!
I also found out recently that Jeffries Tubes are named after the designer of the original Enterprise model, who sadly died last week.
Rob M. (Darn that sounded Nerdy!)
Ps. the Millenium Falcon could have the Enterprise any day!
You’re not nerdy[:p], just misguided [:D][:D]. The fact is, all three are dead weight since none of them “work”. It’s not real [:0] (I know that probably shocked several people!); it’s only fantasy. It doesn’t matter and isn’t important. Shoot, grab a kit and glue 13 of those nacelle suckers on one side, and paint the thing gloss red (The ship would still be black, since there’s no light in space.). Wow, (and I can even say it backwards, “wow”), just think, since it’s all fantasy, you could make up your own scale, (“It’s really 1/1329 scale 'cause I measured it!!”) and then argue about it with all the Trekkies out there [:D]…even make your own Enterprise F, G, H, whatever. I guess since Kirk’s dead (!?!), there should probably be a USS Kirk, or since Spock died and came back, maybe a USS Spock I and II. OK, I’m having a good time, now…[8D]. BTW, the SciFi channel is bringing back Battlestar Galactica; looks like a series. I always thought the Cylons (sp?) were a cross between Cyclops and Nylons…or not. OK, OK, I quit!! Enough, already! It’s time for bed [V].

Since we’re on the subject of starships Enterprise, is there anybody else besides me who thinks that NX-01 doesn’t look retro enough? It sort of looks like it belongs 20 or 30 after NCC-1701. . . [:0]
Styrene, we know it’s not real, and it is NOT fantasy, it is Science-fiction, and some of it is now science fact. The communicators Kirk and crew used? Look at your cell phone! Paulnchamp, I agree. She is a nice looking ship, but is too close to a ship used in ST TNG for me to believe she is older than NCC-1701.
Lee
You’re right, paulnchamp.
That’s kind of a problem with all modern takes on the precursers to old shows and films. I feel the same way about most of the stuff in Star Wars EP I and II…modern crowds demand cooler stuff than what they’ve seen, and evidently the designers seemed hard-pressed to de-engineer machines and other business and keep it “cooler” than the later stuff we saw earlier…does that make sense???
Anyhoo, D’s still my fave!!
styrene has a point about the ship names ( “USS Kirk,” etc. ). After all, one of the ships that the Enterprise was racing to meet in the last movie was the USS Archer[:D].
Of course, some alien with an ancestral grudge would probably blow up a “USS Kirk” as soon as it launched![:D]
I probably should be getting into this but as far as Enterprise NX-01, is just like I said earlier, does not look like it comes before the Constitution Class starship. Also, I like the series but it does not follow the other series one bit. They have met the Borg, the Ferengi, the Romulans, and when they meet the Klingons their warp capability was better than Enterprise NX-01. I can remember in the original series with Kirk meeting Romulans for the first time, Picard meeting the Borg and Ferengi for the first time and telling another alien race about the encounter with the Klingons. All of which do not match what is going on in the show Enterprise. Like I said earlier, you have to watch each new series as if it was the only series. Now that I am the one sound like a nerd Trekkie I will say good-bye. Oh by the way, the is light in space. Light can travel through a vacuum because if it did not we would not have light. If there is no light in space, How can astronaughts get to the Space Station. I will go now before I upset anyone else.
