Just “completed” (for now) my Dragon 3-in-1 SdKfz 251/1 Ausf. D and want opinions … but don’t see how to attach pics in this forum. FAQ says it’s a privilege granted by the forum’s administrator … but I don’t see how to get that permission! Help??
Upload your pics to a hosting site, like PhotoBucket
They will provide you link text for forum posting…the ones with [IMG] brackets at the beginning and end.
Just cut and paste that text into your post and viola. You are on your way.
What the FAQ means is that posting pics is a privilege not a right, and it has been granted. Misuse of this privilege (porn or inappropriate pics) will result in the privilege being taken away and possible banishment.
To host pics you need a website that can host them for you. There are plenty of free websites that do that:
to name but two, albeit probably the most popular!
Once you’ve registered, you simply browse your hard drive for the images you want to upload, and upload them. They are placed in an online album, and you can cut and paste the IMG code for each image into the post. The code looks something like
[ img ] www.yourwebsitehost.com/yourusername/yourpicname.jpg [ /img ] though without all those spaces. The web hosting service does all the code work, so you shouldn’t have to worry about that.
