im thinking about getting the kit and i was wondering would anyone know of where to find any pics of one in action, and also what type of tanks were they able to transport??

you can find a picture on page 19 in the Panzerkampfwagen III at war by concord publications in thier armor at war.Also finescale modeler november 2004 pages 42 to 44 has fantastic diorama of the famo. hope this help you out. i dont think they transported anything bigger than the panzer IV.[2c]
I think it would be cool to see it hauling a captured Sherman …who knows, maybe they were getting it ready for the “Watch on the Rhine” operation… <<< Obviously I’m not as much into the historical accuracy as doing something interesting…>>> There’s my [2c]
definately get it, I just bought one less than a month ago, and am already done with the chassis, It is a great and awesome model.
It took three of them to tow a tiger, so I imagine they could haul alot!
You can find three of them towing a tiger in Panzer colors 3, not sure which page.

yeah fatpat ive got that issue thats why i want to build one after seeing that great dio.
im goin to a military maodelling show tomorrow so i’ll see if i can pick up a kit there cheap. i was thinking of having the famo tank transporter hualling a captured t-34 if i could find some specs on the hualling weight of the transport because a t34 is 33.4 tons to 35 tons. so im going to have to do some research on this one.
