I need some advice. My local hobby store in Northern Virginia has the Tamiya 1/35 18 ton transport “Famo” for $55. This does not include the long transport carrierm just the Famo. I am somewhat of a beginner modeler, and it looks like quite a complex kit, but the price keeps calling my name. You guys think it is worth it to pay the incredible low price of $55 for this awesome kit. This kit goes for much, much more, even online. Thanks,.
Best advice I can give you is if you don’t feel your skills are quite up to tackling it just yet, go ahead and grab it and stash it away for the future. I don’t much about the asking price for this particular kit but it’s one of the best kits Tamiya ever produced so if you want it, why not grab it? [;)]
Ditto! I have kits in my stash I am not ready to tackle yet, but will someday as my skills continue to improve. Buy it, put it front center where you see it. It will make a good motivational device to keep you building and pushing yourself!
