Hey! That’s not brand new! I thought you said I was buyin’ a brand new Falke?!?! That one’s got lots of paint chipped off it! ![]()
Seriously, tho, great job, Robb! I especially like those paint chipped areas. Looks like real weathering in some fairly common areas. ![]()
Great job Robb! Trust me folks, it looks even better in person. So many details - you see something new each time you look at it. I especially like the maintenance manual in the cockpit!
The “other” Rob
The maintenace manual is something of a joke. It’s the directions for the kit reduce to 1:20 scale.
Falken’ awesome! I love the way this turned out, heck the in progress pics were inspiring on their own but the finished product is WOW! [bow]
So, you gonna tell us what you got for this one, Robb? C’mon and share, brother! [:)]
oh all right.
This model took a Gold at Wonderfest 2007.
There, happy? ![]()
Very much so, and no less than you deserved! I just wanted to make sure everyone else knew it, too. [bow]
Congrats! It is a very nice build, nice to be appreciated once in a while ![]()
kylwell:
I thought I recognized it. Good Job.
(I got me a Gold there too [:)] .)
Wow![bow]
I don’t have a clue what it is, where it came from, or annything about it, but you have some freakin awesome skills. I don’t think I could even begin to think about where to start with the detail you added. Quite an impressive craft.
It’s Maschinen Krueger, the closest thing to a cult in scifi modeling. Invented by Kow Yokoyama back in the '80s.
And thanks[:)] I’m a bit of a detail junkie.
That is just awesome! All that detail really makes it pop.
Very good job! I’d love to see it in person.
Now that is one stunning piece of work![#toast]
Great work(as always)!
Hey Kylwell, I was wondering what your take on the new Hasegawa kits is?
My take… I hope they stick with the 1:20 format. I hope they stay true to form.
And I hope to buy a case of them.
