The diorama I’m making might be based in the Falaise Gap with the crew of my armored car gone except for 1-2 people who stayed behind at the creek in it. (Due to my lack of skill at painting figures [V]) The paint scheme I want to do is different than the standard and it’s meant for wooded areas. I couldn’t find a map with forests on it (most maps I found were pictures of military maps with units and stuff). So I was wondering if anyone knew if any areas in the Falaise Gap were wooded enough for units to paint their vehicles camo meant for woods.
Thanks a bunch.
Funny you mention this, scer, as I was just looking at a site concerning this the other evening… here’s a couple pictures on the page, and the referenced link.

Hope this helps, [:)]

Thanks a bunch, if I was fighting there, I would paint my vehicle a wood camo.
dont be too fast scer…I was just over to France a couple a weeks ago went to the Normandy area. there were a LOT of fields there. I mean heavy agricultural center man… then again, I suppose in the Falaise area there would be enuff foerst cover on the surrounding hills to warrant the camo…
BTW, I had plans for a dio like that, brits instead of crew members, and the vehicles knocked out, but still…u readin my mind ur somethin?
Hmmmm… Don’t know if that’s good or bad, me reading your mind. lol
…it all depends on what im thinking about at the moment…
