I built this for the weekend madness group build, but I can’t get it to post! So, I’ll put it here for y’all to judge.

I started on this at 5 p.m. of Fri. I built this oob. Here’s where I stopped Fri. nite. Photobucket

I clear coated it Sat and put on all of the decals. The canopy was the only trouble I had on this kit! There was a huge gap between the windscreen and canopy if you closed it. So, I left it open. I had to free hand paint it. I finished this build on time Sun. A big accomplishment for me! I hadn’t done that much model work in just 2 days for a LONG time!!! Gotta agree that is amazing work done in two days. I don’t think I could finish a 1/48 plane in 2 weeks let alone days.

Thanks everybody! This build took me back to younger days, concentrating on it more than all of the other life happenings. I’m pretty proud of this build.

An F4U-4 might just need to be my next project. Nicely done… And in two days. Crazy…

2 days??? I didn’t see “weekend edition” anywhere on that Hasegawa box!!! Wow! I can’t even get the engine halves assembled and painted in 2 days. Great work scorp!!
