What colour is the interior of the Corsair? I cant seem to find any decent pics. I am guessing Zinc Chromate if so is there a Humbrol enamel that comes close?
Either zinc chromate green or interior green heres a couple of pics of the cockpit. Ive seen the sides painted black and ive seen them green your choice.

You probably want interior green, but that is not listed as a Humbrol color. If you can get chromate green, add some black to it, to darken it. The color is refered to as ANA 611/ FS24151.
Thanks guys, the pics certainly help. Humbrol do an interior green but I think that is a British version and seems a lot greener than the yellowish green of the chromate. Might have to see if I can find a vallejo or Tamiya chromate.
You won’t find a Tamiya chromate unfortunately. They always recommend a “blend”[sigh] Best bet would probably be Vallejo
I’ve added yellow to hombrols’ interior green before with good results, besides, I’m sure interiors after combat and repairs and wear and tear are various shades before too long anyway. I work on twin Otters and king airs and I always see different shades in different parts, even brand new aircraft too, I walked past one of Westjets relatively new 737s that had the tail panels apart and I saw a couple different shades in there.
Here is my Home-Mix interior green it is made from Humbrol 131/80/81 seems ok to me.

Looks good from here

I posed this same question for painting wheel wells on my Dart and it was suggested to mix black and yellow to desired shade to make ZCG or Interior Green, I have tried this and it works pretty darn good!

Pit parts pre assembly, wash and weathering.

Edit
Thanks to Bud for all the reference pics, coming inhandy already.
NP at all, happy to help
And that Office is looking SWEET !

Ok I am nearly at the limit of what I can achieve with hairy brush alone, so just a little more assembly on the small parts than on to the next project! no prizes for guessing whats next.

WOW ! She’s looking GOOD
Can’t wait to see her done
Your going GREAT !
Bud
Thanks Bud, put the quickboost engine together tonight and scratched some push rods (I think thats what they are called anyway). I must say I think the quickboost stuff is great value, I picked this up for £2 and it looks very good, I might add some ignition wires and other details just to make it pop a little more.

Looking good.
When i was building my F4U, I used copper wire.
Keep up the GOOD work
Bud
