Has any one received the new 1/48 scale F3H-2N Demon from Grand Phoenix? Mine was waiting for me when I got back from vacation. When I opened the box, I got the supprise of my life. It was missing the instructions, decal sheet, photoetch and resin parts. I contacted Squadron and was told all missing items would be mailed to me. That was two weeks ago and I am still waiting.
From looking at the bag with plastic parts and the clear parts it looks like a good kit. I haven’t opened the bag containing the plastic in case I have to return the kit back to Squadron.
If anyone has the kit, have you tried dry fitting the parts to see how they fit? How does the PE and resin parts look? Are the decals any good? How would you rate the kit.

Really…!!! Get out. I too have one put to the side for me at my LHS. I take it then that I have to take a peek before I actaully by right[:(!][:(][;)].
WOW go figure. I thought that the decals were from Eagle Strike. I could be wrong though.

I recieved my Demon a couple weeks ago. The PE and resin parts appear very detailed and intricate with very clean castings. The decals are Eagle Strike and appear to be of excellent quality. I have’nt started to work on it yet as it is sitting on my stack of about 40 other kits waiting to be built, so i can’t comment on the fit. If you want I would be glad to e-mail you a copy of the instructions and a picture of the decal sheet
Bigfoot01. I was just about to take you up on the offer for the instructions, so I could at least see how it went together. This afternoon UPS shows up at the door with a package. Squadron sent all of the missing parts. I didn’t know a set of masks came with it too. It sure has a lot of small PE parts for the wing fence and cockpit. Thank you for the offer.
