I see where Squadron is taking advanced orders for the Fonderie Minature 1/48 scale F11F-1 Tiger. Does any one know anything about this company? What is their quality? Would it be worth the $68.46 Squadron is asking? Thanks to anyone in advance.

I’ve never built one as their priceing has always put me off. However, nearly every review I’ve read of their models would indicate one would be better off to scratch build the particular subject as opposed to buying their kit.
Their quality ranges from mostly crap to really crappy.

Ditto what Rick said. If you want to do an F-11-F1 in 1/48th scale find an old Lindberg kit and use it as the foundation. Yes, the FM kits are that bad! I have tried two of their kits and they were equally horrible. They will never get built, at least not by me.
Thanks everyone. I guess I will have to wait until someone else comes out with a Tiger. The reviews I got on line about the company run from cold to luke warm. It would only go in my to do stack any how.
