Sweet! I always liked the 1950s fighter jets!
Beauty job MM.
Thanks for your kind comments, Jim and modelcrazy!
Mr. M M,
Great F-86, BUT the panels on the F-100 were never on a hinge as the maint troops always put the panels on the ramp next to the nose gear & there were no hinged panels at all on the aft fuselage. Other than that the model looks great. Some sharp eyed judge might give you a very low contest score.
F-100 John
I think you’ve got 2 great looking birds there!!! Keep up the good work!
Very cool jets the bud …thumbs up [Y][Y]
Pete
Absolutely beautiful!
Toshi
Very nice builds indeed. In the spirit of constructive criticism, the front nose gear door of the Sabre was hinged in the middle; it should be bent 90 degrees. Further, the speed brake doors didn’t open parallel to the ground. They opened with an approximately 30 degree downward ‘sag’. Excellent finishes though. They look very good. Well done. Mike
Sweet work. Nice, clean builds. Awesome.
BK
Nice!
A nose like that made me want to go out and buy a roll of “Lifesavers” candy! [t$t]

F-100 John - Thanks for your kind comments, and for bringing back this thread one year on. Because of my poor English, I don’t understand about the panels and hinge thing that you mentioned. As this is not for a contest, so there’s no problem about low score.
scorpr2 - Thanks so much for your kind compliments! We’ll keep up the good work as long as my stock lasts. But now I’m running out of display space.
Pete - Thanks so much also for your kind compliments!
Toshi - Thanks so much for your kind compliments!
Mike - Thanks so much also for your kind compliments! It’s too bad that “Nipon” didn’t know the details that you mentioned, he just followed the instruction sheets.
BrandonK - Thanks so much for your kind compliments!
allan - Thanks!
BigJim - We don’t have “Lifesavers” in Thailand, but we have “Mentos” candy roll which looks similar but twice as long.
That F-86 was the ride of one of the uncles of our own Mike Thompson here.
MM your builder “Nipon” did pretty well.
