F-86E Sabre slat question

Where the slats on the F-86E Sabre’s wing hydraulic or were they pushed back into place with airflow (like the Me-262 was)? I didn’t know if I needed to pict up Cutting Edges slat kit or if I could get away with scribing the slat lines to backdate the F-86F to the E.

They were pushed back by the air like the ME-262. Here’s a site that explains the F-86 wings.
