I’m looking for recommendations on books about VietNam era Air Force F-4 Phantom operations. Not reference books, but books about air operations and the war itself. Kind of like “Thud Ridge” for the F-105.

I’m also looking for books on F-4G/F-16C “Wild Weasel” operations and for WWII B-17s. I’ve read “Those Who Fall” as part of my B-17 research, but am looking for additional information. Again, not reference or technical books, but a good story.

Thud Ridge is a great book isn’t it? The Lt. Col. who wrote it probably had to retire after it was published. Have you tried The Military Book Club? They have a website. I’ve belonged to it for a year or two and have bought many good books. I know that I’ve seen at least one book listed that was about flying the Wild Weasel.
