F-4 Ferris pylon color

I am doing the J and was wondering what color the pylons are and the drop tanks as well? cant find any refrences at all

I beleive that the bags and pylons are the same as the underneath color. You should invest in to the AirTime Publishing book; McDonnell F-4 Phantom Spirit in the Skies. It has details on every variant, weapon and squadron. Well worth the $35 price!

Hey rhino - I have some super scale decals and painting insructions for a ferris phantom. When I get home in a couple of hours, I will take a look and let you know.

Oh yeah, Scott Van Aken over at another website (hyper scale or model madness I can’t remember wich site Scott does) - posted pics of his ferris effort. It’s a beaut. I think he had a center line on his too.

Kinda hard to interpret the color because the tank is in shadow… but here ya go…
