I am a new member as of this morning. I am building a F-4 1/48 scale and wish to procure some post Viet-Nam decals. Anyone have any ideas where I can buy the “low vis” decals for the gray painted F-4’s used iin the early 80’s late 70’s

And yes I did not forget about the 101 decals either… With redoing the dungeon it set me back a lil bit…

Yeah, those are jets I worked on. I am really psyched that there is finally decals to do jets I spent so much time on.
Ben did a great job collecting all the reference and Scott at Afterburner was kind enough to send me a couple of the sheets. Would have been nice to get a mention for providing reference though. I know Ben gave credit to all the people he received info from and maybe it was just too much to credit them all in the packaging. Either way I’m thrilled that these are available!!
I sent Scott and Geoff info for about three dozen jets, and the “Thank you” list I included had almost that many people to thank! I had a ton of help, for which I’m most grateful. I was able to correspond with some interesting folks, including Floyd Lail and Fred Sheffler, crew chief and pilot of the 4th’s only Vietnam MiG killer (gotta find somebody to do decals for their jet, since Fox 1’s sheet is no longer available).
Now that I have the decals I’ve wanted for almost 20 years, I just need to find the time to build an F-4E or three. [:D]
