Modelers, I posted this over on ARC and haven’t yet got much response. I’m looking for photos of the INSIDE of the air brake on an F-18C. I don’t know what colors to paint the details such as hose and lines. Anyone have or know fo any info on his? Thanks.

The entire inside should be the same color as the top of the Hornet, with the actuator piston being painted chrome silver, and the actuator cylinder the same color as the inside of the speed brake. I’m assuming this is for an A thru D model, and not an E or F model.
Of the two reference books that I have (Squadron’s Walk Around & In Action books for the F/A-18), there is only ONE picture of the air brake opened, and it’s a B&W photo!!! I got the colors from the Academy 1/32nd F/A-18C instruction sheet. Hope this helps you out. Good Luck!!
