Ok here is my problem. How do you make the gold canopy??? i am so lost. I love the effect but dont know how to do it. can someone plz help me.[:D]
I’ve heard of some modelers adding some color to Future and dipping the canopy. There’s also painting the canopy with a “clear” color. Testors, Tamiya, etc…make clear colors like yellow, blue, and green.
Ok, never done this myself but others say it works. Get some Tamiya clear yellow, You can spray this on the inside (or is it ourside) or mix it with Future and then dip it.
I would practice on an old canopy to see how you like it before trying on the one for the kit.

What you can do to get that “goldisch” effect, is mix some Tamiya Titanium gold with future, leave it for 24 hours, so that the pigment settles on the bottom, and than use the clear that now has a goldish shine.

Do u dip it or spray because the problem is i dont have a airbrush[:(!] yet. Waiting for next pay check lol spent so much money starting off my life
