Can anyone tell me of any nice F-16 models that have deep panel lines? I think Tamiya and Italeri models have deeper scribed panel lines that Academy or Hasegawa models… As I brush paint my models, deeper panel lines are better for me…
Albert,
I build 1/72nd F-16s. So far, the Italeri sample has the deepest panel lines than the ones offered by Hasegawa, Academy or Fujimi. If I remember correctly, the Tamiya kit is just a rebox of the Italeri kit, so yes, it does have deep panel lines, too.
Compared to Hasegawa and Fujimi, Revell AG’s F-16MLu has a slighlty deeper panel line, but still has good detail compared to Ilateri. You might want to check that out.
Hope this helps.
Thanks for the reply! I can’t seem to find any good Tamiya models here in Singapore, as they are mostly Warbird series planes. They aren’t very colorful, too. I’ll keep an eye out for Italeri kits… See ya! [:D]
