F-16 Canopy glaze?

What is the best method of painting a clear F-16 canopy the “bronzish” or tented color? Hasegawa’s 1/48 F-16 came with only a clear one.

My favourite method is to airbrush on a mixture of Tamiya Smoke and Clear Yellow. I thin the mix about 50% and apply mist coats until I get the color I want. Then I overcoat with Future. If you go to Swanny’s Models www.swannysmodels.com, a different method is described that also works well.
