I have an old 1/48 Revell F-16 ADF kit that I found in a bargain bin.
The current cockpit is a mere decal so I want to spruce it up. All of the add-on pits I am aaware of are listed as being for use with other more recent kits. Tamiya/Hasegawa etc…
Anybody know if they will still fit in the older F-16’s or if there is a specific Am pit made for Revell?
Most resin 'pits will fit other kits than what they are made for. Some sanding, cutting and fitting is required, but they will work. I put a resin P-38 'pit for Hasegawa in a Revell. It took some surgery but it did work.
Just using a resin ejection seat really helps. Here is a pic of my old Monogram F-16 with a True Details Aces II seat and an Eduard P.E. cockpit set. The rest of what’s in the office is from the kit.
