They should have kept their A-10’s, the neighbors are going to wish they had. A-10s and Gulfstreams are relatively quiet neighbors compared to F-15s. I don’t know why they just didn’t base them over at Westover…oh…that would make sense. Doh!

Gerald, you’re correct, it’s even one of Murpheys Rules of Combat:

When military thinking and common sense come together, it’s refered to as coincidence.

Didn’t Murphy also say. When the pin is out of the grenade the grenade is not your friend.

… and I appreciate your input but unfortunetely no one has the decals for Mass ANG

Time to look at getting some Dry Transfers! I used them for my FireBoss P-47 and I frequently use them for tail codes and other markings.

I think I will take some picutres and make my own decals with testors paper , though those are not so nice (thick [:(]) as the production decals are, not a tamiya decals !

The unit hasn’t finished the conversion to the Eagle yet so there are no decal sheets available. They only have a handful of jets, and only a couple of them have full 104FW markings.

When did the 102nd get “C” models? When the 5th shut down they got our “A” models.

They had no choice but to change aircraft and mission due to BRAC

Greg, even as of a couple months ago, not all of their jets are marked with 104th FW markings nor had crew names on them. They wouldn’t be too hard to make on your own - almost identical to their A-10 markings, except for the font used for “104th Fighter Wing”
