F-15

Here’s the Revell AG 1/48 scale F-15 I built for a client. My first one in this scale. Very detailed kit out of the box. I didn’t add any aftermarket stuff. Stuck to basics, painting, seams, decals and final finishing touches and I’m very satisfied with the results. The tiger meet decals along the bottom of the engine farings were quiet trickey, need quite a bit of Micro Sol. More importantly my client was elated and jumped up and down with joy with big @#$!% grin on his face. The photos are some what out of focus, my apologize. I learned quickly to use a tri pod to steady the camera. Please enjoy, comments, improvements (if I were to do again) are welcome. [tup]

Very nice build. The scheme looks cool and the base is well done. However, your pics don’t do it justice[V]

Ditto what Wulf said. Looks really sweet, but the pics are sort of fuzzy, making your fine work a bit difficult to see. Do you have a tripod? I have found them to be essential for close-up photography.

Thank you for the kind words

Yes, I agree about the fuzzyness of the pic’s. I do now have a good tripod that I use, plus I use the timer setting on the camera to assist so it becomes a “hands off” photo shoot. Now I’m working on improving the lighting and back ground for even better shots.
