I take it you’ve never seen an F-14 before it’s been cleaned after a dozen or so sorties. The raw umber represents oil leakage when wings are pivoted, flaps and spoilers are raised and lowered durring flights, so its supposed to stand out. I think Sarge did a tremendous job representing that and weathering that well is not easy.
Sh!t H0T job man, especially the weathering. Now, what kit did you use? Is that an aftermarket cockpit? Did you use any other add-ons? What scale? I’m working on teh Tamiya F-14B in 1/32nd scale with those same decals from Zotts. Last, it better take you awhile to get this done, I would imagine your flying a lot? Oh, by the way, Happy Birthday Devil Dog.
Looks darn good to me as well! I’ve seen a Tomcat up-close at an airshow, and this even seems light, regarding weathering. Excellent representation, build and finish.
