Driving along Hwy 70 through Kansas, I found this sitting on a pad in a VFW park.

So I stopped the car and took LOTS of photos.

I’m surprised it is still there, considering that they pulled them from the museum at Chino. The feds wanted all F-14s demiled…aka destroyed to keep components from them being sold to the Iranians. That one appears to have some good pieces parts on it. Even lines, accumulators and actuators are useful when you have a jet that has broken ones. Better haul that one back to AMARC
