Has the T-cat made its last flight and if so what squadron and type made the final flight. Was this just an announcement or are they all done flying.
VF-31 flying the F-14D. They were deployed with VF-213 (also F-14D) aboard the Theodore Roosevelt earlier this spring. VF-213 converted to the Super Hornet when they returned from Persian Gulf. VF-31 remained on “alert” status out of Oceana NAS until September. They are now preparing to convert to the Super Hornet as well.

What’s happening to the decommissioned F14s? Going into mothball, being sold to another country?
The last F-14 going into mothball out at DMAFB got there Tuesday, I think. The remaining 6 active aircraft are going to museums accross the US.
