They’re not all carrier traps, some are landings on runways, some are dirty passes. I think there are a couple touch-n-go shots too. But they all pretty much show F-14s in landing configuration…

I’ve got about a gig of Tomcat stuff, so it was just a matter of going through and finding what was needed. As to where they all originally came from… a good number of them are official USN photos. But many also came from a large number of other sources. I’m an image addict and grab almost everything I see and it’s kinda tough to keep track of where specific images come from sometimes.
