Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone has built the 1/32 Tamiya F-14A version 1994 and used the aftermarket cockpit kit from squadron.com, and if so was there was much scratch building involved. I was curious about purchasing it after I discovered that the out of box cockpit was only decals. Any help is appreciated.

Are you talking about the set made by Aires? These typically fit rather nicely, however you might need to do some grinding to remove any molded in details or bulkhead that are part of the kit. Careful planning and execution and you shouldn’t have any problems or the need to scratchbuild anything.
