Hell yea baby! It’s even better in person! One of you asked about the fireworks…That video was taken during the annual Oceana air show. They have a night demo on Friday evening that is highlighted by the Tomcat performing several maneuvers w/ afterburner. Saturday and Sunday they do the same thing except on VA Beach. The fireworks usually begin when the Tomcat recovers. During one pass you’ll also notice an orange glow on the deck. They have a pyrotechnic guy for the show. During the night demo and then the airpower demo’s the Tom’s and Bug’s will make coordinated passes over a simulated target and at the right time light off a wall of fire or explosions to simulate ordnance being ‘pickled’ from the strike a/c, very cool! If you have a chance to get to a show, Oceana has an awesome one.
