F-117 Stealth Kit Recommendations?

Looking for Stealth F-117 1/48th, 1/32 or bigger size kit that is super accurate.

Also mention any aftermarket parts for detailing the model or accurizing parts.

May also want to consider lighting. Are their resources/lighting kits for that?

Tamiya, Italeri, and Monogram all did the F-117 in 1/48, and Tamiya is very nice, the best of the bunch for fit and accuracy. Testors did it in 1/32, but it is not very accurate.

There is a website for model lighting in general with fiber optics and led’s, but I don’t have it bookmarked. Maybe someone else can tell you.

Another vote for the 1/48 Tamiya F-117. Eduard makes a couple of nice PE sets for it.

And another vote for the Tamiya kit!

As for the lighting, Dynamic Scale Modeling has a lot of info on adding LED’s to kits. Great company to deal with, too!

Another vote for the Tamiya kit. I have it on the workbench now and it’s a dream to build. Black Box makes a resin cockpit set for the aircraft, which is also good.

Do not buy the Monogram version. It is a nasty one.

Is there a comprehensive list of accurizing items for this?

How about a lighting kit for this?

I agree, I built that one years ago B4 the Tamiya kit came out. It was an exercise in PAIN.
