Greetings all. Had a problem with dash cover in my 105. Kit part just didn`t have enough caracter. Too plain. While at work the other night, someone had spraypainted some parts on hevy duty paper towls. Well the parern stood out real well & in scale. So I sprayed both sides in gloss black & let dry overnight. Then did some cutting & trimming till I got the shape right & glued into place. Used black marker on edges to clean it up.I think it came out very well.But dont use the regular kitchen papertowls, the patern is all wrong. Any & all comments welcome
That looks like a very good way to represent the dash area of the cockpit. You have done an excellent job on the instrument panel and side consoles. Is that the Trumpeter 1/32 Thud?
Well Mike, thanks alot!I`m using kit decals for it. Jack Broughton “ALICE”. It was lost over thailand. I considered doing a raparound but changed my mine.Anyway heres a few more. Still a work in progress!

Mike, I cant find any pics right now, but if your interested you can go to " CRAIG BAKERS F-105 SITE" they have pics and stuff. basicly it looks just like “the polish glider”. And yes there is tons of pe in it. I`m using Eduards BIG ED set. It has interior, exterior, weapons detail, remove befor flight streamers, just everything!It is Trumps 1/32 F-105D model. The cockpit is kit part with all the pe installed. Still have a few things left to do to the office. Will post more when I have more done.

Dirtball, before you put the canopy on you might want to tone the wires down just a bit… they are BRIGHT!! Looks fantastic though, I really like the paper towel effect!
RM8, thank you. I will tone them down, but in all fairness under normal light there not that bad. Took the pic closeup with flash surrounded by white tile, so the pic might be a little “bright”. Thanks to all for your kind words. Makes me want to do better. This forum ROCKS!!
