F-105 1/48th SEA colours

I am building a F105D and according to instructions painted if SEA. The 2 greens (humbrol 116 , FS34079 and 117 , FS34102 came out …louzy. It does not seem to be the correct paint number.

Can anyone tell me what is the best colours to paint it decently???

While I cannot vouch for the quality of Humbrol paints, FS34079, FS34102, FS30219 and FS36622 are correct.

Testor’s Model Master makes all of those colors in both bottle and spray and you can get good results with those. Xtracolor (available from TwoBobs) also carries these colors (XA1110, XA1116, XA1102 & XA1140)
