Nice! Must be tiny in 1:72!
Mike
Thanks Mike! Not really tiny, it’s almost half the size of 1:32
Very cool! Interesting to see it is splinter camo. I am now busy with the Hasa 1/48 104c , it just has the nicest lines of a plane ![]()

Wow, I’m blown away. I just don’t know how you guys work with 1:72 and get that kind of detail without going blind! Great job and thanks for sharing, Raymond
Those -104’s were as common as houseflys back in the day in the old “Air Combat” magazines when I was growing up. It’s cool to see one built up.
Theuns - thanks for your kind comments. F-104s seem to be quite popular, many recent threads talked about them.
Raymond - my artist “Artama” is originally a ship builder, 1:700 scale. 1:72 parts are about 10 times bigger than 1:700 ones, so no sweat. No part is too tiny, no detail too small for him. You’re welcome and thanks for your kind compliments.
mississippivol - I’ve read that they were hard to fly because of so small wings, and some were widow makers. Is that right?
That is a VERY nice looking 104! [B] Excellent paint and decal application!
Great Job!!
Fantastic!! My all time fav airframe [Y][Y]
