On the 1/32 scale F-104C there is a gun that you can cover or leave open. does any body know if any makes an after market kit for a 1/48 scale? I have searched, but not found one. I mean the gun and door. Thanks

while i’m not exactly sure on the content, i do know that czech master kits makes a F-104 detail set and a cockpit detail set. like i said i don’t know if this includes the M-M M61 gatling gun or not but worse comes to worse you have a detail set to use.

I did not find any thing for the 1/48 scale, but found some neat things for a 1/72 scale 104C.

I have just about every 1/48th scale detail set there is for the F-104 series and have never seen a Vulcan Cannon (20mm gatling gun) for the F-104 in that scale. The Revell F104-C kit has a gun as part of the kit. It is not very well detailed, but you could use it as a good start. The 1/48th Monogram kit is a G model. I think you can find the Revell C model as a Revell of Germany kit. Other wise look for an F-104C in either a Revell or a Monogram box, or the old (pre merger) Revell kit.
