Ok guys now that I have built my old F-105 for bash i want to build a detailed regular F-105. Only problem there arnt any F-105 in 1/48 scale that i know of. The only ones i know of are in 1/32 by trumpetter and those would be HUGE!!!. So if you guys know of any F-105 plz help me out.
Revell/Monogram produces an F-105 D and the F/G two seater. The kits may be currently OOP but they are not rare. I think both kits had been re-released a few years ago and should be easy to find.
Monogram reissued a “D” version out a couple of years ago and then followed up with an “F” version. The “F” had a book about the Century fighters by Bert McKinsey (sp?). I have both - I love the Thud. I think they are ok, but I’m sure there are people who are more versed with these kits than I.
Try the many model companies out there. I’m sure you’ll find one. Squadron, Roll Models, and Meteor Products come to mind. Plus these companies also carry After Market items for the Thud.
Also, there are a lot in 1/72 scale for the Thud as well if you venture into other scales. Good luck with your Thud.[2c]
