I’m getting down to the small things now. I got the cans in place and decided to go overall semi-gloss. The post-shading is pretty much done although it might be a little heavy. I’ve not decided yet but I might go back and done them down with the dilute overspray.
That bird is looking fine! The diluted overspray might add a further touch of variation, but it looks great as is, IMHO! Thanks for sharing!

I did in fact go back with a diluted overspray of buffing aluminum and it’s looking good now. It’s up on the mains and I’m waiting for the wheels to be dry so I can mount the tires. She’ll be finished by tomorrow if all goes well. I’ll post some pics in the finished state by Monday latest. My first NMF and a conversion to boot. I’m pretty excited by how she’s coming out so far. I’m trying not to rush and screw it up so close to the end.
