I was looking at a material called EZ Line. It comes in two thicknesses - .003 and ,006. Which would be THINNER? I say .003, and my wife says .006. She is thinking in terms of wire gauge I think. Anyway, of the two, which would be more appropriate for 1/48 scale WWII antenna wires?

.003 is smaller. just a nats hair larger than a human hair, .006 is twice that , i would go for the .006 for 1/48… but thats just me…
Just a thought, but antenna wires are smaller diameter than bracing wires. For effect, use the .003 diameter for antennae and .006 for bracing (if/when you do a biplane). It would be noticeable on a single aircraft, but maybe not so much on two different ones. For 72nd go as small as possible.

The .003" is definitely smaller. The grey color in that size was used on the 1/32 Pfalz I just completed.
I use 0.004 steel wire for my 1/48 biplane rigging and it scales out to be a little heavy. I’d go with 0.003
I would use the thinner one. The thicker size even looks heavy on 1/32 scale planes. EZ line definitely makes antenna wires easy.
