would someone explain to me how to post pics and add quotes and what the folders mean and why is there locked topics and, and, and…[xx(]…
i know some of these questions might sound a bit dense but, i’m a little thick and it takes me a while to catch on…[8)]
any form of reply would be greatly appreciated…this is a great place you’ve all created…[^]

To post a pic, you put the link between it inside of some image tage. Like this… [im g]yourmimagelinkhere[/im g] Be sure to take out the spaces in the img tags. Quotes work the same way, highlight what text you want to quote, and place it between quote tags…[quot e]blahblahblahblahblah[/quot e]

Locked topics would be some that don’t require any more responses, or that got out of hand and had to be shut down. I’ve never seen any get out of hand and turn to flames on this forum. That is one of the reasons it’s the best forum that ever was.

Folders are simply different topics.

There should be a legend down on the bottom to tell you what the folders mean… a brown folder is an old topic, a purple one is one with new replies, one with little flames on the corner (ala-Enron) mean that it’s a hot topic and has gotten 20+ replies.

Also, there is a community assistance forum down towards the end of the page that you might want to check. Someone may have answered a question you have verbalized yet. Don’t worry about dumb questions: there are no such thing. [:)]

Don’t forget that before pics can be added to the forum, they must be uploaded to a website or hosting website. Once there, the links to your pics will work. They won’t work if you try uploading them directly from your computer or disk.

RonUSMC has graciously set up a website specificaly for hosting pics. You can upload them to his site like many of us have and then link to the forum from there.
