excellent modeling site

Dear all,

In case you don’t know about it already, here is an excellent modeling site I stumbled upon a while back:

http://www.naritafamily.com/scalemodelTOP.htm

The models are mostly jets and are very well built. It even has some fantastic photography and commentary (including a photo build log of a 1/32 Su-27!). Definitely one of the better modeling sites out there.

Thank you.

Terry

Nice site, a new one for me. Thanks for the post.

Regards, Rick

Thanks for posting I put it in my Favorites!

Excellent site thanks for the link. You have no idea what you have done in finding it. Funny thing is I did not know it exsisted because I know this modeler he is a memeber of our local IPMS club http://www.svsm.org/ .

He is an excellent builder and the F-14 build he did in 1/32 scale was incredible, in fact if you go to the contest page and click on the 5/22/2004 Tri-City Spring Classic link the picture of the guy in the blue tee-shirt is none other than me drooling over his work [:)] no kidding. I took second place at that show in the rocket and missle catagory.

Thanks again for sharing this with us great job.

Cheers
Thom [:D]

Great site!
I met Masa at the Shizuoka Hobby Show last year, and saw his amazing Missouri diorama. Nice guy!
Thanks for posting the site.

Thom,
I saw it there too. I was fantastic. I also saw his SU-27 at the Feb show and took a couple of pics. His paint job on the engine exhaust is especially notworthy.

I got a 1st and a 2nd at last years show for my Yamato (1/200) and my Rattlesnake privateer. It’s great to see local talent like Masa get showcased!

Cheers,
Paul

Paul,

Which Feburary show were you at this past one or the one last year. Do you belong to one of the local groups.

Cheers
Thom

very cool site!! thanks for sharing. later.

Great indeed, thank you! [:)]

Take care
Frank

Thom,
I was at the February model show in Milpitas. I just came for a few minutes at the end to see what was there. Nice exhibit - but they gotta do something next year to improve the light in there - it was downright dim - lol.

Last year I attended the Newark show in May - it was the first model show that I’ve ever attended - I thought it was a blast. I don’t belong to any of the clubs at present.

I’m hoping to finish my Academy 1/32 F/A-18 (which I won at the May show last year) for the show in Newark in May. Maybe I’ll see you there.
Cheers,
Paul

Hello Paul,

I know the lighting sucked, but they might be moving it to another place next year since it grew so much in size from last years event.

You should come to the meeting this Friday night (March 18th) it is held at the Milpitas Public Library and starts about 7:30 pm.

It be good to meet you.

Cheers [:D]
Thom

Thom,
I’d love to - I’ll just have to see if I have the time this Friday - that is usually my date night with my wife.
