I received the book “A Higher Call” for my birthday recently. It’s an excellent story about Luftwaffe Ace Franz Stigler and US pilot Charlie Brown and their meeting on Dec 20 1943 over the skies of Germany. It’s a very good read, especially about life as a pilot in the Luftwaffe. Highly recommended! I’ve attached a link to the author’s website so you can check it out.

Just finished the book myself Steve, facinating story and hard to believe how they were able to function towards the end. If you go to youtube there is a good bit on it.
