Has anyone ever tried to build an academy F-16 in 1/48 scale? I’ve been building models for thirty years and this kit is the biggist piece of @%&* I have ever seen in my life! The fit of the wings to the fusalage was so far off in my eyes there was no way to fix it. The wing was about an 1/4 in thinner than the body of the plane where it attached. I am usally a trooper. If I get into a kit and I can see some problems with it I just finish it the best I can. Not every kit is going to look perfect when done but this one is a joke. As far as I see it I was robbed by academy on this kit. I did control myself I did not launch it. I just went out and bought revells F-16 Tigermeet kit for about the same money I spent on the acadamy. It went together with no problems! Just thought I would warn you guys I would hate to see someone waste there money on this poor kit.
