Ever been to the Gato museum in Wisconsin?

Has anyone ever gone to the Gato class submarine museum in Manitwoc, WI? I could have that all confused but I think I’m right. I heard about it a few months ago. I’ve spent my whole life visting my family in the Brillion and Green Bay area and had no clue I could go see a real submarine and take a tour. Is it worth the trip? Is there a website? Ive tried some searches but I don’t find anything regarding this museum. Again, I might have my information confused. Anyway, any help and info would be greatly apreciated.

I’ve been to it a few times. The USS Cobia. About the only thing I didn’t like about it was that it was a guided, “timed” tour. I would stop to study fine details and take pictures, and the tour guide would come back and tell me to quit holding up the tour.

The ship is in very good condition and very complete.

There is another Gato-class boat moored in Lake Erie, right next to Lakefront Airport in Cleveland, Ohio, the USS Cod. http://www.usscod.org/

I have been through this boat many times, and it is a great tour.
