Eurocopter BK117

Does any one knoe if any of the mainstream manufacturers makes a Eurocopter BK 117.
There is a rescue team, here in Alberta, that uses these particular units.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Ray

Hi Beemer,
Revell of Germany is the only manufacturer that has the BK117. It has a 1:72-version (the ‘Starship’ Company demonstrator livery is o.o.p., the ‘Medicopter’ -livery is current ) and a 1:32. The latter version has been released in several (most medevac) liveries, but afaik now it’s only still available in a combination-kit, together with a 1:32 Bo105 and a 1:32 EC135. All three helo’s carry the ADAC-livery (German rescue/ medevac service) .

Good luck!
Gertjan

Thank you.

The Revell 1/72nd scale is the only one I have been able to find. ‘Flight for Life’ here in Wisconsin uses a BK-117, and I’d love to do the kit someday. Too bad there isn’t a 1/48th version. The only thing stopping me is that killer paintjob…bright white, bright orange, and bright blue stripes all around the bird, and all the lettering, too. Makes one appreciate the drab paint scemes of military helos sometimes, lol. So many projects, so little time…
